Director of Sales and Marketing

Amy Hoffman attended Bowling Green State University and holds a business degree. After 10 years working in the graphics art and printing field, Amy began her employment with Drummond Island Resort & Conference Center in 1999 as an assistant marketing associate and expanded her responsibilities to group sales before advancing into the position of Director of Sales and Marketing in 2007. Amy oversees all group, business and wedding coordination at The Resort.

Keli Kelly

Director of Golf

The Director of Golf at The Drummond Island Resort is Keli Kelly. Keli joined the staff at The Rock golf course in 2007. Keli is a graduate of The University of Toledo with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing with emphasis on Management. Keli’s approach to teaching is to tailor lessons to fit each student. She stresses physical flexibility, strong mental approach and practice with a purpose to improve all areas of each individual’s swing. Her goal is to make you a better player. By eliminating swing flaws she can keep the student interested in the game through constant improvement. While playing amateur golf at both the high school and college levels, Keli was drawn to the tradition of the game of golf as well as the values it affords. She is using both the experience and knowledge she has gained to enhance her position as golf instructor at The Rock as well as head coach of the Detour High School girl’s golf team.

Pins Manager

Nicole attended Alma College where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.  She has 20 years of experience in the restaurant industry.  She began her employment with Drummond Island Resort in 2012.  Nicole has been the Assistant Manager at Pins Bar & Grill the past 2 years and is ready for her new position.  Nicole enjoys gardening and spending time outdoors.

Brianna Kuiper

Lodge Manager

Brianna was born in Grand Rapids, MI, moved to Drummond Island in 2000 then graduated at DeTour High School. Brianna has been coming up to the U.P. since she was born as her grandparents lived here.  Brianna went to school for Child Development and got her Certificate for Child Development. Brianna was a preschool teacher aide for DeTour for 4 years then had a change in careers and worked in a gift store for 2 years where she was then promoted to manager for 2 years. Brianna was then hired at Drummond Island Resort as the Lodge Manager. In her spare time she likes to be outside, whether its swimming, gardening, or boating. Brianna is a valuable asset to the Drummond Island Resort team being organized, goal oriented, sociable, and the love of learning new things.


Craig Hoffman

Golf Course Superintendent

Craig Hoffman is the Golf Course Superintendent and holds a turf grass management degree from Michigan State University. In addition to over thirty years of golf course maintenance Craig has been appointed to numerous governmental boards in this capacity. As an avid environmental steward, Craig has implemented programs to enhance golf properties with certifications from the MSU Environmental Stewardship program as well as The National Audubon Society. Craig’s commitment to golf course excellence is unyielding. Craig has worked in every facet of golf course maintenance and has been a proud member of the Golf Course Superintendents Association for several years.

Frank Jones

Executive Chef

Princeton’s Drummond Island Resort Executive Chef Frank Jones who also oversees Pin’s Bar & Grill and Catering Services, offers something unique to this northern destination.  He brings more than thirty years of Culinary Arts expertise.  Chef Frank specializes in a wide range of food service from fine dining to casual to catering for the many folks that come to the resort for their special occasion.

He and his staff believe in the quality and freshness and features homemade from scratch cuisine.   Chef sources local & Michigan items whenever possible and features fresh fish from Lake Huron, fresh herbs from Drummond Island and even locally produced Maple Syrup. Fresh ship to shore seafood weekly.  Chef Frank always accommodates special requests and wants each guest to have an experience.

Banquet Manager & Front of House Manager at Pins

Mary is a native of Sault Ste Marie MI and grew up working in her family’s business, a restaurant and bar.  She brings 15+ years of food and beverage experience.  Married and the mother of 2 boys, she is active in the community as a Parent Volunteer and basketball coach for several years.  Mary’s post education at Lake Superior State University concentrated on business and psychology.  Her eagerness to share her food and beverage knowledge at Drummond Island Resort has been a great asset and she continues to make improvements in providing excellent customer service to our guests.  Mary has been the dining & banquet manager the past two seasons and eager to make a mark at Pins in managing all service staff.  In her free time she enjoys time with family, enjoying the outdoors and sports.
